Privacy & Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This Privacy & Cookie Policy explains how Glam In Paris ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit glaminparis.com or book a dress rental and photoshoot with us. We are committed to protecting your privacy in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French data-protection law.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Glam In Paris is the data controller for the personal data collected through this website. For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at contact@glaminparis.com.
2. What data we collect
- Booking & contact details you give us when you request or make a booking (name, email, phone/WhatsApp, chosen dress, date and location, and any message you send).
- Payment information when you pay for a session. Payments are processed by our provider Stripe through the Kapturia booking platform; we never see or store your full card details.
- Browsing & device data collected through cookies and similar technologies (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser), only where you have consented.
3. Why we use your data and our legal bases
- To answer your enquiries and manage your booking and photoshoot — performance of a contract.
- To take payment and keep the records required by law — legal obligation.
- To measure our audience and improve the website (statistics) — your consent.
- To show you relevant advertising on Meta and other platforms (marketing) — your consent.
4. Cookies and tracking
Cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work are always active. Statistics cookies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) and marketing cookies (Meta Pixel) are only set after you accept them. Nothing tracks you until you consent, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time.
5. Who we share your data with
We only share your data with the service providers who help us run the business, and only for the purposes above:
- Kapturia — online booking and availability.
- Stripe — secure payment processing.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — booking conversations.
- Meta, Google, Microsoft Clarity — analytics and advertising, only with your consent.
We never sell your personal data.
6. How long we keep it
We keep booking and contact data for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal and accounting obligations (typically up to the statutory retention period). Consent-based cookie data is kept for a maximum of 13 months, after which we ask you again.
7. International transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside the European Union. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place to protect your data.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email contact@glaminparis.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority — in France, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
